this forest is entirely filled with wolves that want to kill you, and the village itself is very very small and only consists of a few buildings and villagers. the only building you can enter is a puppy shop, which says that you are "not mature enough yet to adopt a dog". there's no way to increase your maturity. on the pyramid, if you drop down on the third ring and walk to the back there's a secret dog!
