a truly melancholic and overwhelming way for goblet grotto to end. when swampy dies in any way (without like, actually dying) they are sent to "the warm, black sludge". this area is also one of my favorites in the whole game, all characters that reoccured even mildly show up and return in the very end! even god is there and it has a typing quirk!!! the music is also great too, it's so different from the rest of the game's ost as it's surprisingly emotional, you can feel the emotional rollercoaster the song and even possibly swampy is going through when this song plays. really truly feels like you're dying. only way you can escape from here is by going in the hole, which shows the credits
